Saturday, May 24, will bring plenty of good reasons to visit the Kraffer Garden. We believe at least one of them will catch your interest and that we’ll see each other in the garden on this May day.
Starting in the morning, the OKNO-SWAP clothing exchange for adults and children, organized by Otevřená okna, will continue for its second day. It’s the perfect opportunity to refresh your wardrobe and enjoy the accompanying program.
At 5 PM, the GARDEN GATHERING event begins. We look forward to the culmination of the project “Telling the Story of the Garden Together with You,” featuring the screening of three short animated films inspired by the garden’s past, created by students of the Vítězslav Novák Primary Art School (at 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM). If you’re curious about what the young creators found most interesting about the garden’s story, don’t miss the screening.
At 6 PM, singer-songwriter Petra Göbelová will perform in the garden. You might know her from the duet Láska na vsi with songwriter Pokáč, or you may have heard her as the opening act for Tomáš Klus or the band Chinaski. It’s no coincidence they chose Petra as their partner—come hear for yourself.
We’re also getting a fire ready for you, not just for roasting treats (which you’re welcome to bring yourself), but also because we feel it’s a great place for a chat. And we’d love to talk with you. Throughout the event, you’ll be able to let us know what you like about the garden and what you feel is missing. We’ll tell you what we’re planning, and you can tell us if and how you’d like to get involved. To make sure everything goes smoothly and stays fun, we’re preparing this part in cooperation with the Socionaut organization.
