We are preparing an event full of great gastronomic experiences, relaxation, and a spring atmosphere for you in the Kraffer Garden on Saturday, May 9.
In the morning from 10 AM to 12 PM, we will host the Fair Breakfast, organized by Charita Jindřichův Hradec and the Tea House by the Castle (where you can stock up for the breakfast in advance at their Fair-trade shop). This picnic gathering, held under the auspices of the Fairtrade brand, highlights the difficult situation of coffee, cocoa, and banana growers in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. At 2 PM, the afternoon program will be kicked off by Adam Obrátil and Petra Střelecká from the INDUSTRA.COFFEE cafe and roastery with a talk about coffee—how to enjoy it, how to prepare it, and where they travel in the world for the coffee they subsequently roast. Given that both are among the top baristas, it will certainly be interesting. Petra Střelecká has won the Czech Brewers Cup three times and was the only woman to reach the World Brewers Cup finals in 2017, making her one of the best baristas in the world. You will also be able to purchase her book, Filter Coffee, in the garden. And what we think is the best news: you can also take part in a coffee tasting that will follow the lecture.
Desserts to go with your coffee will be offered by the Kraffer Cafe, which, just like last year, will be preparing coffee for you all summer long from the INDUSTRA.COFFEE roastery. And this time, it won’t just be about desserts. In the garden, you will also find spring specialties from the kitchen of the Rudolfov Excursion Restaurant. Just like us, they emphasize local sourcing, high quality, and the spirit of the place where the food is served.
From 3 PM, DJ cube positive will be playing, and children’s workshops will be available throughout the afternoon. So you can bring the kids along and enjoy a peaceful moment in the spring garden with good food and drink. We look forward to seeing you!
