Join the third year of our children’s art competition! This year’s theme is Garden Helpers.
Who all helps out in the garden? Who is the gardener’s “right hand”? What kind of helpers do gardens and gardeners wish for? What do they look like? What do they like most about the garden? Where can they be found? What do they like to help with most? Whether your head is full of garden gnomes, earthworms and bumblebees, or other helpers, we’ll be happy if you draw, paint, or cut and paste them for us—it’s entirely up to you!
Bring your work, created using any technique (restrictions apply only to the format—A4 or A3, 3D works are unfortunately not possible), to the garden by June 8.
The works will then be exhibited during the Open Gardens Weekend (June 13–14, 2026) in the garden, where visitors to the event will also vote for one of the prizes.
The winners will be announced on Sunday, June 14, at 3:30 PM.
The competition partner is Kanzelsberger Bookstore, which will donate book vouchers to the winners.
Kraffer Garden Art Competition 2026
GARDEN HELPERS
The art competition is intended only for children and youth. The artwork must be exclusively the author’s own work without adult intervention. The author may choose
any art technique.
Dimensions of the work are limited:
A4 or A3 format
3D objects are not possible.
Each artwork must be marked on the back with legible details:
full name, age, title of the work, email contact, phone number.
Please note in advance that it is not possible to guarantee the return of the work. Competition participants agree that the submitted works will be used for the art competition announced by Kraffer Garden. For these purposes, the work may be exhibited and communicated to the public, including the author’s name. Only the following will be published: first name, first letter of the surname, age category, and title of the work.
If the competition entries are submitted by a school, the number of entries is limited to 5 per class.
