There are many places in the garden waiting for repair, and we have to choose carefully which one comes next. To develop our activities in the garden, we want to renovate another building from the former nursery. Right now, we need space to work under cover and a place for seasonal workshops for the public. Thanks to your support, we can start renovating the workshop known as the “Potting Shed.”
All of you, our supporters, helped us with an amount of CZK 51,100 in the collection on Darujme.cz, and the Via Foundation doubled every crown you donated up to CZK 20,000. In total, we raised CZK 71,100, which is a great start for a new floor or windows. Come and see how we’re doing!
Every year, we try to improve the garden a little bit. Last season, we managed to clear most of it and do the basic landscaping. Thanks to the support of our fans, we built the shell of the garden facilities and would like to have them up and running by summer. We organize outdoor cultural and social events, which are attended by more and more visitors. This year, almost 4,000 of you came from various corners of the Czech Republic and abroad, which makes us very happy. We supply our own flower shop exclusively with flowers grown in the garden. We organize gardening workshops, events for schools, provide therapeutic beds for the disabled, and much more. We are happy to show anyone who visits us around and share our experiences.
