Jan Makovička
As a boy, I wanted to be an archaeologist, a conservationist, and a gardener. Now I work as a landscape architect, and I feel like my childhood dreams are coming true. I founded the garden and landscape studio Za Mák, and most of my work takes place in the countryside, in the open landscape, or in places with a unique atmosphere.

I've always enjoyed old gardens and discovering them. I'm part of the Za Mák landscape studio, and the restoration of Kraffer's Garden is a project close to my heart. I want to prove that even forgotten places have great value and that creating a contemporary garden full of flowers, people, and culture on historical foundations is not impossible.

Anna Makovičková
I studied landscape architecture, but my love for flowers led me to floristry. In the fields of Kraffer's Garden, I grow a sea of plants and use them to create bouquets for all occasions. I'm impatient and headstrong, but friendly, and I love sharing my experience during the floristry classes and workshops I host in the garden.
