Lights, mulled wine, theater, carols, a fair, a carousel, and workshops – come get into the Christmas spirit at Kraffer's Garden!
For the first weekend of Advent (this year Nov 29–30, 2025), Kraffer’s Garden is hosting its traditional Advent in the Garden event. It will feature a Christmas fair, theater performances, live music, workshops, children’s activities, and above all, a garden full of lights and holiday atmosphere.
The newly renovated courtyard will be filled with a Christmas fair, and on Sunday, you’ll also find Matěj Řezbář’s carousel and other attractions. We’ve carefully selected the best products for you and your loved ones. You’ll find ceramics, natural cosmetics, homemade jams, pâtés, chocolate, honey, teas, socks, children’s clothing, stationery and cards, prints, decorations, Christmas ornaments, books, jewelry, essential oils, toys, hand-knitted hats, and even Christmas trees. This year, we’ve truly gone the extra mile to offer you a wide selection of the finest products.
You can also look forward to the Kraffer Café, where besides coffee, mulled wine will be waiting for you – it wouldn’t be Christmas without it. The stove-heated pottery room will be the place for workshops and children’s activities. The newly glazed part of the greenhouse will make its debut, hosting even more vendors with their products.
Of course, there’s a program that we’re happy to recommend to both children and adults. On Saturday at 10 AM, we invite you to a performance by the award-winning ensemble Puppets Without Borders titled: The Christmas Wedding of Karel the Snowman. If you want to find out what happens on a Christmas tree before it lights up and when no one is looking, and what’s troubling Karel the blown-glass snowman ornament, definitely come along.
Sunday morning will also feature theater, this time a performance of A Scale for Luck from the Studna Theater repertoire. We’ll be starting at 10 AM again.
On both weekend days, you can enjoy musical performances in the afternoon. The local grammar school choir Zanoty and the brass quintet Brass Harmony will perform. You can find the full program on the garden’s website. We look forward to seeing you!
